Notification is out regarding the Army Public School Recruitment 2018 for approximately 8000 teachers intending to hire for the post of PGT, TGT & PRT in 137 Army Public Schools (APS) located in various Cantonments and Military Stations across India.

(b) CTET/ TET conducted by state governments is mandatory for appointment as TGTs & PRTs
1. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
Subjects- English, Hindi, History, Geography, Economics, Pol Sc, Maths, Phy, Chem, Bio, Bio Tech, Psychology, Commerce, Computer Sc Informatics, Home Sc, Physical Education
Salary- NA
Qualification-
- MA/ M.Sc/ PG in respective subject with 50% marks
- BE/ B.Tech (IT/ CS/ ECE) with 50% marks (For Computer Sc Informatics)
- B.Ed with 50% marks (not required for Computer Sc Informatics)
2. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
Subjects- English, Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Pol Sc, Maths, Phy, Chem, Bio
Salary- NA
Qualification-
- BA/ B.Sc in respective subject with 50% marks
- B.Ed with 50% marks
3. Primary Teacher (PRT)
Subjects- NA
Salary- NA
Qualification-
- Any graduate with 50% marks
- B.Ed/ Diploma with 50% marks
