DEE Assam Recruitment 2018- LP & UP Teachers
The Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam has released an addendum notice to the advertisement regarding the DEE Assam Recruitment 2018 intending to hire teachers in various posts across the LP & UP schools all over Assam.
Via the addendum notice, DEE also invites applications to fill up vacancies in Bodo medium LP Schools
Interested Indian national candidates are hereby requested to check below the desired eligibility criteria and apply accordingly via online mode only in the official website of DEE, Assam’s.
~ For Lower Primary Schools ~
1. Name of the post ➡ Assistant Teachers
No. of vacancies- 5393 (old advertisement) + 122 (Newly extended for Bodo medium)
Salary- ₹ 14,000/- to ₹ 49,000 + Grade pay as admissible
Qualification-
- HS passed (12th) with 50% marks & Diploma as per mentioned in previous Advertisement- A
- Must qualify Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)
~ For Upper Primary Schools ~
1. Name of the post ➡ Assistant Teachers
No. of vacancies- 2068
Salary- ₹ 14,000/- to ₹ 49,000 + Grade pay as admissible
Qualification-
- BA/ B.Sc from UGC recognized university and 2 year diploma as per mentioned in previous Advertisement- B
- Must qualify UP Teacher Eligibility Test (UP TET)
2. Name of the post ➡ Subject Teachers
No. of vacancies- 2052
Subjects- Science, Hindi, Arabic, Assamese, Manipuri
Salary- ₹ 14,000/- to ₹ 49,000 + Grade pay as admissible
Qualification-
- BA/ B.Sc from UGC recognized university having studied the respective subject and 2 year diploma as per mentioned in previous Advertisement- B
- Must qualify UP Teacher Eligibility Test (UP TET)
Please note (applicable to all the posts mentioned above)-
➡ Candidates are advised to read the official advertisement for district, category, subject & medium wise break ups.
➡ Upper age limit (as on 01/01/2018)-
- 44 years (Gen)
- 47 years (OBC/ MOBC)
- 49 years (SC/ ST/ PWD)
➡ Age relaxation- As per mentioned in the previous official advertisement

➡ Click on Apply online for the post of Regular Teachers of LP & UP Schools
➡ Now you may proceed further as directed
➡ Documents to be uploaded as per mentioned in the old official advertisements while applying online
➡ After successful submission of the online form candidates are advised to take a print out of the form for future use
➡ Application fee-
- General/ OBC 👉 ₹ 200/-
- SC/ ST 👉 ₹ 150/-
- BPL 👉 Not required
➡ Application fee is to be deposited in the form of Indian Postal Order (IPO) in the name of Director of Elementary Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati- 19
➡ The candidates shall have to submit the IPO in original at the time of document verification only
➡ Last date to apply online 👉 21st November 2018 (11:59 PM)
Selection Process
➡ Candidates will be selected as per the Language-I selected in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for LPS and UPS respectively
