Notification has been released regarding the Home Guards Department Assam Cookman 2018 recruitment, hence applicants are invited from Indian citizens (both male & female) for filling up the vacancies.

Interested candidates are hereby requested to check below the desired eligibility criteria and apply accordingly via offline mode only in the standard form of application published in part IX of the Assam Gazette.

No. of vacancies- 16

Salary- ₹ 12,000/- to ₹ 37,500/- + ₹ 3,900/- (Grade Pay)

Age limit- 18 to 42 years (as on 01/10/2018)

Qualification- Class VIII (8th) passed

Experience (any one)-

  • 6 (six) months of work in a star hotel
  • 6 (six) months cooking course from recognized cooking institute

Please note-

  • Star (*) category of the hotel must be mentioned in the experience certificate
  • Cooking institute “registered number” must be mentioned in the course completion certificate

How to Apply

Interested & eligible candidates are required to apply via offline mode only in the standard form of application published in part IX of the Assam Gazette.

Candidates are required to enclose attested xerox copies of the following certificates along with the application form,

  • Age proof
  • Experience/ Course
  • Caste
  • Two copies of recent attested passport size photographs

Filled in application form along with all the relevant documents should be submitted at the Office of the Director General of Civil Defence & Commandant General of Home Guards, Assam, Beltola, Guwahati- 28

  • Applications received through post or messenger will not be accepted

Selection Process

Only shortlisted candidates shall have to appear before the Selection Board for testing of Cooking skill under videography
