IASST Guwahati Recruitment 2018: Estate Management Consultant, JE, JRF, SRF, Technical Assistant, Electrician:

Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technologu, Paschim Boragaon, Guwahati is an autonomous R&D institute of Department of Science and Technology Govt. of India involved in research in the areas of Physical Science, Life Sciences and Computational and Numerical Studies .Applications are invited from Indian citizens for a temporary contractual post mentioned below.

List of Vacancies

1. Estate Management Consultant (EMC)

No. of Post- 1 (One)

Essential Qualification & Experience- Candidates must have Master degree and previous estate management work experience in Govt. or Private organisation to discharge duties as full time consultant for management of the estate activities of IASST. The Retd. Govt. Officer with appropriate experience can also apply.

Pay- Consolidated pay negotiable in the range from ₹ 37000/- to ₹ 60000/-.

Age- 35-64 years

2. Junior Engineer (Electrical)

No. of Post- 1 (One)

Educational Qualification- Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Pay- Rs. 23,000/-(Twenty three thousand) only per month (Negotiable for candidate with credential and previous work experience).

Age- 40 years for fresh candidate and 64 years for experienced candidate

3. Electrician

No. of Post- 1 (One)

Essential Qualification & Experience- HSLC or equivalent passed with ITI in trade of wire-man/electrician. Minimum working experience of 3 to 5 years in Govt. sector, public sector & major industrial house. Must have requisite experience certificate from the concerned authority.

Pay- Rs. 13,800/-

Age- 40 years for fresh candidate and 64 years for experienced candidate

4. Senior Research Fellow

Project Name: Development of an integrated multi-omics analysis platform, and its application to elucidate the differential process of silk colouration in the Muga Silkworm Antheria assamensis Heifer.

No. of Post- 1 (One)

Educational Qualification & Experience- Post Graduate Degree in Biological Sciences or related discipline (NET/GATE qualification) or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (M.Tech in Biotechnology/M.Sc. in Agriculture/Animal Science) or Ph.D. degree in biological sciences with two years of research experience in the related field.

Pay: Rs. 25,000 + 20% HRA per month

5. Senior Research Fellow

Project Name:Integrating herbal medicine of NER with contemporary approaches to develop therapeutic strategies for metabolic syndrome.

No. of Post- 1 (One)

Educational Qualification & Experience- Post graduate Degree in Biological Sciences or related discipline (NET/GATE qualification) or graduate degree in Professional course (M.Tech or M.Sc. Agri. or M. Pharma) or M.Sc. with two years of research experience in related field.

Pay: Rs. 25,000 + 20% HRA per month

6. Junior Research Fellow

Project Name: Development of model for Brahmaputra Basin Flood Forecasting

No. of Post- 1 (One)

Educational Qualification & Experience- Master in Physics with high grades. Expertise in computational physics and fluid mechanics is desirable.

Pay: Rs. 25,000 + 20% HRA per month

7. Technical Assistant

Project Name: Integrating herbal medicine of NER with contemporary approaches to develop therapeutic strategies for metabolic syndrome.

No. of Post- 1 (One)

Educational Qualification- B.Sc in Zoology/Botany/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Natural product chemistry.

Pay- Rs. 12000/- per month

Age- 28 years (Relaxable for SC/ST/Women candidate)
