Assam Medical and Health Recruitment Board has released official notification for recruitment of 71 posts of Dental Surgeon across Assam under the Health & Family Welfare Department (DHSFW), Govt of Assam.

List of Vacancies

Name of the Post: Dental Surgeon

Total Posts: 71

Remuneration: PB-4: 30000 – 110000/- + GP of Rs.12700/- pm and other allowances as admissible under the Rules. 

Educational Qualification: The minimum qualification is BDS Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized University and recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI) and Registered Dentist of Assam Stale Dental Council. 

Age: As on 01-01-2018, 21 years to 38 years. Upper age is relaxable for reserved candidates.

Application Fee:

  • Rs. 250/- for General candidates
  • Rs. 150/- for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC
  • Nil for BPL candidates

Selection Process

iva-voce /Interview will be held for selecting the candidates for the post of Dental Surgeon 
OR 
If applications are received in large numbers, the Board may short-list the number of candidates either on the basis of their marks obtained in the qualifying academic examination required for the post in terms of advertisement. 
OR 
By holding, Screening test (Multiple choice objective type written examination) which will be notified in due course of time. 

Weightage: Weightage will be given to candidates who are already rendering services In Health & FW Department under Regulation 3(f) of APSC (L&F) Regulation 1951 and on contractual basis under Government organization. Those who are working under Government organization, should apply through proper channel.

Qualification-

  • Experience- 3 years in Public Health
  • Preferable- Post Graduate Degree/ Advance qualification in Statistics/ Specialization in Bio-statistics

1. District Consultant (Quality Assurance)

No. of vacancy- 24 posts at the Districts in Assam

Qualification-

  • Essential- Masters in Hospital Administration/ Health Management (MHA-full time or equivalent)
  • Experience- 3 years in Public Health/ Hospital Administration, out of which, at least 1 year work in the field of quality in health care
  • Desirable- Graduation in MBBS/ Dental/ AYUSH/ Nursing graduate
  • Preferable- Training and experience of implementing a recognized quality system

Remuneration- ₹ 30,000/- (negotiable for candidates with more experience and qualification suitable for the organization)

Please note- The candidates who are working as Hospital Administrator under NHM with relevant qualification or experience may also apply for the post of District Consultant (Quality Assurance)
