The selected candidates will be placed at the district ATMAs under the Directorate of Agriculture, Assam

List of Vacancies

Name of Post: District Horticulture Coordinator (DHC)

No. of Posts: 15

Pay: Rs. 4.80 Lakh to Rs 6.00 Lakh/Year.

Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from any recognized university/ Institution. Preference, however, will be given to candidates holding Post-Graduate diploma/ degree in Agriculture/Horticulture.

Experience: DHC must possess at least four (4) years of professional experience in Horticulture related activities/ Agriculture extension or related activities in any public/private sector organization. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in Agricultural Marketing, Agribusiness and Value Chain Development, specifically in the development of market linkages and working experience in the establishment of Agriculture & Horticulture based institutions and operations of marketing enterprises by farmer organizations, agri-entrepreneurs etc.

Computer Skill: The DHC must have experience of using Internet based applications, using and working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point and other related applications.

Age: The maximum age of the candidate should be 45 years as on 1st January, 2019.

Assam Rural Infrastructure and Agricultural Services (ARIAS) Society invites applications for the following contractual positions under the World Bank financed Assam Agribusiness and Rural Transformation Project (APART). The selected candidates will be placed in the Operational Project Implementation Units (OPIUs) established in the Commissionerate/Directorates/HODs/HQ of Agencies associated with the project.

1. Knowledge Management and Documentation Experts (KMDEs)

No. of Posts: 2

Educational Qualification: Must have a Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (of minimum two years duration) in Mass Communication/Corporate Communication/Media Studies/Journalism/Social Science/English or a closely related field from any recognized institute/University.

Experience: At least two years of professional experience in designing outreach programs. promotional materials, marketing collaterals, press notes, media releases. content drafting/writing. blog writing. arranging press conference, developing corporate communication strategies. media liaison, publicity management, etc. Experience in working with local media is desirable.

Pay: Rs. 6.00 Lakh to Rs 12 00 Lakh/Year

2. Post Harvest Management Experts (PHMEs)

Educational Qualification: Must have a Masters degree/Post Graduate Diploma (of min 2 years duration) in Agriculture/Horticulture/Post Harvest Technology/Post Harvest Management or a closely related field from any Govt. recognized University/Institutions.

Experience: At least two years of professional experience in Post Harvest Management of Agriculture/Horticulture commodities, including development of innovative Post Harvest Management practices for different commodities.

Pay: Rs. 6.00 Lakh to Rs 12 00 Lakh/Year

3. Dairy Value Chain Expert (DVCE)

No. of Posts: 2

Educational Qualification: Must have a Bachelors degree/Masters degree/Post Graduate Diploma (of minimum two years duration) in Dairy Science/Dairy Technology/ Food Technology/Veterinary Science/Animal Husbandry & Veterinary or a closely related field from any recognized University/Institution.

Experience: At least two years of professional experience (in case of Master degree/ Post Graduate Diploma holders) or four years of professional experience (in case of Bachelors degree holders) in dairy value chain related activities in any public/private sector organization.

Pay: Rs. 6.00 Lakh to Rs 12 00 Lakh/Year

4. Piggery Value Chain Expert – Processing (PVCE- Processing)

No. of Posts: 1

Educational Qualification: Must have a Bachelors degree/Masters Degree/Post Graduate Diploma (of minimum two years duration) in Veterinary Science/Animal Husbandry & Veterinary or a closely related field from any recognized University/Institution. Preference will be given to candidates having specialization in Meat Technology/Livestock Production Technology.

Experience: At least two years of professional experience (in case of Master degree/Post Graduate Diploma holders) or four years of professional experience (in case of Bachelor degree holders) in pork production/processing related activities in any public/private sector organization.

Pay: Rs. 6.00 Lakh to Rs 12.00 Lakh/Year

5. Piggery Value Chain Expert – Processing (PVCE- Production)

6. Agri Business Experts (APEs)

Educational Qualification: Must have a Bachelors degree in Agriculture/Horticulture followed by a Post-Graduate diploma/degree (of minimum two years duration) in Business Administration/ Marketing/ Agribusiness/ Economics or a closely related field from any recognized university/Institution.

Experience: At least two years of professional experience in Agri Business Management/ Agricultural Marketing/Agri Value Chain Development/Agri enterprise development or similar activities in any public/private sector organization.

7. Agriculture Extension Experts (AEEs)
