ITBP recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspector- 2018 advertisement for Pharmacist & Lab Technician has been released by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force. Interested Indian Citizens (both Male and Female) are hereby requested to check below the desired eligibility criteria and apply accordingly for filling up the vacancies via ONLINE mode only.

a) Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist), Group ‘C’

Pay Scale- Rs. 29,200/- to Rs. 92,300/- besides other allowances

Age Limit- 20 to 28 years (as on 25/09/2018)

Age Relaxation- As per govt. rules

Minimum Educational Qualification- Diploma in Pharmacy & Pass in 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)

Other Essential Qualification- Registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948

Physical & Medical Standards- Read page no. 5 and page no. 6 of the official advertisement

b) Assistant Sub Inspector (Lab Technician), Group ‘C’

No. of Vacancies- 5

Pay Scale- Rs. 29,200/- to Rs. 92,300/- besides other allowances

Age Limit- 20 to 28 years (as on 25/09/2018)

Age Relaxation- As per govt. rules

Minimum Educational Qualification- Diploma in Medical Lab Technology & Pass in 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)

Other Essential Qualification- One year experience as Lab Technician in medical set up

  • Fill up the APPLICANT SIGN UP form and submit (One-time registration)
  • Go to APPLICANT LOGIN page by clicking here
  • Enter Email-ID & Password, then click on the Login button
  • Fill up the Application Form and Submit
Please note- It is mandatory to keep a print out of the duly filled application form for future use.

Selection Process

Admit Cards to the candidates will be issued online mentioning the date and venue of the recruitment test. The recruitment to the post of Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist & Lab Technician)-2018 will comprise of the following phases. However, ITBP reserves the right to change sequence of the recruitment process due to administrative reasons.

Phase One

  • Verification of original documents
  • Physical Standard Test
  • Physical Efficiency Test
  • Biometric Identification

Phase Two

  • Written Test (Either OMR based or Computer based)- 200 Marks Objective Type MCQs
  • Practical/Skill Test (After Qualifying Written Test)- 50 Marks

Phase Three

  • Detailed Medical Examination

Please note- Candidates who are not satisfied after declaring unfit in the Detailed Medical Examination can submit an appeal for his/her Re-Medical Examination with duly filled Medical Certificate.
