IIT Guwahati Library Trainee Recruitment 2019:

Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati has released notification for engaging 6 (six) posts of Library Trainee at its Lakshminath Bezbaroa Central Library.

These positions are meant for imparting on the job training to the selected candidates. On satisfactory completion of training period, a certificate will be awarded and such trainees shall not be engaged subsequently for such training in future.

Educational Qualification: The Accountant must possess at least a Degree (of minimum three years duration) in Commerce/ Accountancy/ Finance /Accounts from a recognized University/Institute. 

Experience: Must have at least four (4) years of professional experience in accounting management in any Public/ Private sector organization. Proficiency in working with Tally Accounting System is a must. 

Computer Skill: The Accountant must have expertise in using Internet based applications, working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point, related applications and software & hardware of computer systems.

List of Vacancies

Name of the Post: Junior Assistant/Office Assistant

No. of Posts: 1 (Women Category-01)

Pay: Rs. 14,000-Rs. 49,000 + Grade pay: Rs. 8,000/-( 7th Pay Scale Revised) 

Educational Qualification: The applicant must be Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University. Candidates must have adequate Computer Knowledge and exposure in Windows and MS Office environment having fluency in English writing and speaking. Knowledge of Assamese language is desirable. 

Age: Minimum age should be 18 years and Maximum age of 44 years as on 01/01/2018.
