The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) North East Hill (NEH) Region has released an advertisement regarding the ICAR Recruitment 2018 JRF & more intending to fill up various vacant posts as mentioned in the below ‘List of Position(s)’.

Interested candidates are hereby requested to check below the desired eligibility criteria and appear on a walk in interview for different Projects under the Division of Animal Health.

List of Position(s)

1. Name of the post- YP-II

No. of vacancies- 2 (two)

Salary- ₹ 25,000/- per month

Upper age limit-

  • 35 years for Men
  • 40 years for Women

Age relaxation- As per govt. rules

Qualification-

  • For project “AICRP-ADMAS“– BVSc or MVSc
  • For project “Institute-Parasitology Section“– PG in Vet Science/ Zoology/ Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Agricultural Science or relevant discipline

2. Name of the post- JRF/ SRF

No. of vacancies- 3 (three)

Salary- ₹ 25,000/- per month

Upper age limit-

  • 35 years for Men
  • 40 years for Women

Age relaxation- As per govt. rules

Qualification-

  • For project DBT- “Molecular platform for epidemiology, disease mapping and development of diagnostic for economically disease of ducks”– MVSc in Microbiology/ Veterinary Biotechnology/ Veterinary Medicine/ Veterinary Public Health/ Livestock Production and Management OR Master degree in Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology with NET

  • For project DBT-“Plant encapsulated nanosystem an alternative to antimicrobial growth in Poultry health in Northeastem India”– MVSc in Poultry Science/ Veterinary Nutrition/ VetyBiotechnology/ VetyMedicine/ VetyMicrobiology/ VetyPublicHealth/ Vetylivestock Production and Management OR Master degree in Life Scienc/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology OR M.Tech Nanotechnology with NET

  • For project DBT ADSAHD- Master Degree in Vety. Science (An. Health Disciplines)/ Biotechnology / Microbiology/ Biochemistry

3. Name of the post- Field Assistant

No. of vacancy- 1 (one)

Salary- ₹ 17,000/- per month

Upper age limit-

  • 35 years for Men
  • 40 years for Women

Age relaxation- As per govt. rules

Qualification-

  • For project “Prevalence and Drivers of Select Zoonotic Pathogen and use of Antimicrobial in Livestock Farm in North East Region, A Mixed Method Study” ICMR– Any graduate

4. Name of the post- Research Assistant

No. of vacancy- 1 (one)

Salary- ₹ 31,000/- per month

Upper age limit-

  • 40 years for Men
  • 45 years for Women

Age relaxation- As per govt. rules

Qualification-

  • For project “Prevalence and Drivers of Select Zoonotic Pathogen and use of Antimicrobial in Livestock Farm in North East Region, A Mixed Method Study” ICMR– Doctoral degree in areas of Vety. Science (with specialization in An. Health) or Doctoral degree in Life Science/ PG with three years experience in the mentioned disciplines
