Post Name: Junior Telecom Officer  (JTO)- Civil & Electrical

Total Posts: 198 [Circle Wise: Assam– 6, NE-I (Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Tripura- 6, NE-II (Arunachal, Nagaland, and Manipur)- 7]

Pay: JTO(Civil) & JTO(Electrical) will be appointed in the IDA pay scale Executive[E-1A] of Rs.16,400/- – Rs.40,500/- as per 2nd PRC with annual increment @ 3% of basic pay plus IDA, HRA, Perks, Medical Benefits, etc. admissible as per BSNL Company rules.

Educational Qualification: BE/BTech. or equivalent in Civil Engineering for JTO(Civil) & in Electrical Engineering for JTO(Electrical) from a recognized Institution/University AND are required to appear in GATE exam 2019, opting one paper from selected two disciplines of GATE paper codes i.e. Electrical(EE) & Civil(CE) (details are available at www.gate.iitm.ac.in).

Age: Candidate shall not be below 18 years and not exceed 30 years as on the last date of receipt of Online applications from the candidates. However, the age is relaxable as per the standing instructions of Government of India.

Mode of Selection: The mode of selection is through GATE SCORE-2019 which has to be conducted by IIT Madras, Chennai in the month of February 2019.

Pay for Class-III:

  • A2 Level:  Rs 12,000 — 27,000/-
  • A1 Level: Rs 11,000 -24.000/-

Pay for Class-IV: W1 Level: Rs 10.000-18,000/ –

Increment: 3% per year

Besides Basic Pay, the employee is entitled presently to allowance @ 47% of Basic Pay under Cafeteria Approach, Dearness Allowance, HRA/Company Accommodation, Mining Allowance, Contributory Provident Fund, Conveyance Maintenance, Substantial Performance Related Pay (PRP), Medical Facility for self and dependents, Gratuity, Self-Contributory Post Retirement Benefit Scheme and Composite Social Security Scheme as per Company rules. The pay revision is due with effect from 01.01.2017; the benefit of the same will be applicable from the date of joining. Most of the Jobs demand outdoor field work in shifts requiring considerable physical efforts and technical skills.

PWD candidates shall be given roles which are commensurate to their physical ability. The job is transferable to any location within the country as demanded by the semi-mobile nature of operations.

Educational Qualification: First Class Engineering Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electrical Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Computer Science Engineering/ Information Technology with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized Institution / University

2. Jr. Consultant- Field Operation (Gr-I) on contract

Educational Qualification: First Class Diploma in Engineering in the disciplines of Electronics& Communication Engineering / Electrical / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Computer Science with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from State Board of Technical Education or any recognized Institution.

3. Jr. Consultant- Field Operation (Gr-II) on contract

Educational Qualification: Should have passed ITI (2 years duration) in the trades of Electronic Mechanic/R & TV/ Electrical and Fitter from the duly recognized Institute
