The Indian Army has released notification for the Indian Army Havildar Recruitment (Surveyor Automated Cartographer) Batch 2019. Interested civil and serving candidates (only male) are hereby requested to check below the desired eligibility criteria and apply accordingly via respective mentioned mode only.
Application mode-
- Civil candidates- Online (05 Oct 2018, 10:00 AM to 03 Nov 2018, 05:00 PM)
- Serving candidates- Offline (application to be received before 18 Nov 2018)
Application fees- Not required (Please beware of touts)
1. Havildar- Civilian Candidates
Educational qualification- BA/ B.Sc with Mathematics having passed 12th Class (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects from a recognised Board/ University
Maximum age limit- 20 to 25 years (as on 01/10/2018)
Physical standards- As per mentioned in the official advertisement
Medical standards- As per mentioned in the official advertisement
2. Havildar- Serving Candidates
Educational qualification- BA/ B.Sc with Mathematics having passed 12th Class (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects from a recognised Board/ University
Maximum age limit- 28 years (as on 01/10/2018)
Physical standards- As per mentioned in the official advertisement
Medical standards- As per mentioned in the official advertisement

1. For Civilian Candidates (Online mode)

- Write the text shown in the Captcha and click on ENTER WEBSITE button
- Scroll down the page to the middle and click on APPLY/ LOGIN button against JCO/ OR Enrolment
- Click on Registration button in case you are a new register and login
- Previously registered candidates can login directly using their old Username and Password
- Click here to know about the necessary documents required during online application
- After login, fill up every required details and submit
2. For Serving Candidates (Offline Mode)
- Application form can be found attached along with the official advertisement
- Other detailed instructions are to be followed as per mentioned in the official advertisement
Selection Process
Recruitment to the Indian Army Havildar post will comprise of the following stages,
1. Screening
2. Physical Fitness Test
- 1.6 KMs run
- Jump 9 feet ditch
- Pull Ups (Beam)
- Zig Zag Balance
3. Written Examination
- Paper I (Mathematics)
- Paper II (Physics & Chemistry)
Date of Recruitment
- Screening & Fitness test- Will be notified on the Admit Cards
- Written examination- 24th February 2019
