Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh recently inaugurated the National Cyber Forensic Lab (NCFL) and Cyber Prevention, Awareness & Detection Centre 9CyPAD) as a part of the Union Home Ministry’s Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C).

Section 66A of IT Act of 2000 provided jail term to people who post offensive content online, and it was scrapped by SC in March 2015. Recently Supreme Court has recently directed all state governments to sensitize their police personnel about scrapped Section 66A of IT Act 2000.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Minister of Women and Child Development Maneka Gandhi launched the Investigation Tracking System for Sexual Offences (ITSSO) and Safe City Implementation Monitoring Portals as a part of women safety initiatives.

‘InfyTQ’ to offer learning and engagement experiences to engineering students of 3rd and 4th year in the country. The app will provide courses on professional skills to help students navigate the art of effective contextual response, inter-personal relationships, communication and e-mail etc.

The first-ever Mallakhamb World Championship at Shivaji Park in central Mumbai on February 17. Fifteen countries participated in the torunament.
