Educational Qualification Required:
a) Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary examination from any recognized Board /Council /University
b) Candidates should possess a Diploma /Certificate in Stenography/Shorthand from ITI/Polytechnic/any other institute. Candidates who are pursuing Stenography/Shorthand may also apply. However, they must submit pass/completion certificate/diploma to the High Court at the time of document verification, unless otherwise decided by the High Court
Other Qualification Required:
a) Candidate should have adequate knowledge of the official language of the state of Assam (Assamese)
Age Limit: 18-44 years (Relaxation OBC-3 Years, SC/ST-5 Years and PWD- 10 Years)
How to Apply
➡ A candidate is allowed to submit one application form only against a district of his/her choice.
➡ Candidature of a candidate will be considered for all the establishment of that district
➡ Application fee is Rs. 300/- for UR/OBC and Rs. 150/- for SC/ST
➡ Online application will start on 16/11/2018 12:00 PM and will end on 27/11/2018 5:00 PM
➡ Last Date of fee payment is 30/11/2018 till bank transaction hour.

➡ Following documents are required for applying online
- Scanned passport size phoograph (5KB to 30KB)
- Scanned signature (5KB to 30KB)
- Refer the official advertisement for detailed requirement of the scanned documents
➡ After filling up the application, click on the Print Fee Payment Challan Form
➡ Candidates may pay the application fee after two working days of filling the application form or on or before the last date of fee payment i.e. 30/11/2018
Selection Process
In this Gauhati High Court Stenographer Recruitment 2018, selection process will be based on three stages.
➡ Stage One: Stenography test [100 Marks]
➡ Stage Two: OMR Based objective written exam (General English-50 Official Language of Assam (Assamese)- 20 marks [Both will be qualifying in nature]
➡ Stage Two: Candidates in the ratio of 1:3 will be called for viva voce of 15 marks
