Indian Army Recruitment Rally 2018 at Tezpur, Solmara Military Station [29th Oct to 3rd Nov]

Interested candidates of districts Hojai, Biswanath, Nagaon, Sonitpur & Morigaon are invited for the Indian Army Recruitment Rally Tezpur 2018 to be held at Solmara Military Station. Candidates are hereby requested to check below the desired eligibility criteria and apply accordingly via Online mode only.

Registration Dates- 30th August to 13th October 2018

Admit Cards Issue Dates (via registered email)- 14th October to 28th October 2018

Rally Dates- 29th October to 3rd November 2018

List of Categories

1. Soldier General Duty

Educational Qualification-
(a) 10th pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject
(b) For candidates having passed 10+2 and above require 33% marks in each subject

Age Limit- 17.5 to 21 years

2. Soldier Technical (Nursing Assistant)

Educational Qualification-
10+2 pass in science with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject (Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English)

OR

B.Sc pass with Botany, Zoology/ Bio Science & English. Graduate candidates should have studied the mentioned subject in 12th grade as well

Age Limit- 17.5 to 23 years

3. Soldier Technical

Educational Qualification- 10+2 pass in Science with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & English)

4. Soldier Clk/SKT

Educational Qualification-
(a) 10+2 pass in any stream with 60% marks in aggregate & minimum 50% in each subject
(b) For candidates having Graduated and above require to fulfill 12th grade % marks criteria

5. Soldier Tradesman

Educational Qualification-
(a) Simple 10th pass or ITI
(b) For House keeper and Mess Keeper 8th pass candidates are allowed

How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates have to apply via Online mode only. Below is the process given in detail, kindly follow.
  • Go to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in
  • Write the text shown in the Captcha and click on ENTER WEBSITE button
  • Scroll down the page to the middle and click on APPLY/ LOGIN button against JCO/ OR Enrolment
  • Click on Registration button in case you are a new register and login
  • Previously registered candidates can login directly using their old Username and Password
  • Click here to know about the necessary documents required during online application
  • After login, fill up every required details and submit
Please note- Recruitment into the Army is a free service. Candidates are advised not to pay bribe to anyone for recruitment as it is based purely on merit. Selection process during recruitment at all stages is computensend & transparent. Therefore, candidates are advised to be beware of touts as they cannot help them at any stage.

Selection Process

Recruitment to the Indian Army will comprise of the following stages,

1. Physical Fitness Test (At Rally Site)

  • 1.6 KMs run
  • Jump 9 feet ditch
  • Pull Ups (Under Grip)
  • Zig Zag Balance

2. Medical Test

  • As per medical standards laid down at the rally site
  • Unfit candidates will be referred to MH/CH/BH for specialist review
  • Candidates referred for specialist review should present themselves to the nominated MH/CH/BH within 5 days of the referral and report back to ARO for issue of Admit card for CEE (Written Test) in case of declared fit

3. Written Test (CEE)

  • Common Entrance Examination (CEE) will be conducted for medically fit candidates
  • Location, date and time of written test will be intimated at rally site and through Admit Cards
  • Admit card for the review fit cases will be issued after getting medically fit by concerned specialist/specialists at MH/CH/BH

Please Note- Candidates are requested to bring all the relevant documents as mentioned in the official advertisement in original and two attested xerox copies along with them to the rally site
